 Scholarships available:

Chartier-Kraloveitz 

(formally M.L. Chartier & Dry Doc)

$2500 Scholarship to Kerr County residents only

Kerr County Livestock Show Association


Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Be a graduating High School Senior.
  2. Have an overall GPA of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 system.
  3. Kerr County applicants must have resided in the county during their Jr. & Sr. year of High School.
  4. All applicants must have participated in 4-H and/or FFA for at least 4 years.
  5. All applicants must attend a Texas College or University in the Fall immediately following their graduation.
  6. All applicants must have participated in the Kerr County Livestock 
  7. Show any 2 of the previous 4 years.

  • Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis. However, the total individual will be taken into consideration. An active history in promoting agriculture, academics, and a hearty involvement in other activities will all play a role in the process.

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Due to the changes made to the Hill Country District Jr. Livestock Show Association, scholarships will no longer be awarded from that Organization. However, District Applicants that were awarded a HCDJLS scholarship in 2021 will be eligible to apply for a scholarship for the coming academic year. These District only applicants MUST meet eligibility requirements #1, #2, #3, and #6 to be considered for a scholarship. District only applicants are exempt from all other eligibility requirements.
  2. Be enrolled in a Texas College or University as a full time student taking at least twelve semester hours of course work.
  3. Have completed at least 12 semester hours as a freshman or have completed 36 hours as an Upper Classman by March 2021.
  4. Have resided in Kerr County and been eligible to participate in KCSS for grades 11 & 12 and participated in 4-H or FFA for 4 years
  5. Show any 2 of the 4 years in 4-H or FFA
  6. Have maintained a 2.5 GPA or better on a 4.0 system.
